Announcing the Youth Focus Fund
2002 Donations Recipients

Introducing Working Assets’ Youth Focus Fund 2002 donations recipients working for Education Reform, Values, Environmental Awareness and An Equal Start.

Every time Youth Focus Fund supporters shop at participating merchants, they’re helping these 15 outstanding organizations to carry out much-needed work.

Combining Technology and Philanthropy

Working Assets and Groundspring.org, an internet foundation that facilitates philanthropy to social change organizations, have established the Working Assets Youth Focus Fund as a project of Groundspring.org. Recipient groups are recommended to Groundspring.org by Working Assets. To be selected, groups must have been in existence for a year and must belong in one of our four focus areas: Education Reform, Values, Environmental Awareness and An Equal Start for All Kids. eScrip contributes the funds from merchant donations to Groundspring.org, and Groundspring.org distributes this money equally among all the donation recipients.

“We congratulate Working Assets on participating in this groundbreaking shopping/contribution program. It will surely make a difference to many grassroots social change organizations working for the well being of young people.”
